Tokyo Suburban Day Trip|Keikyu Railway Misaki Tuna Tour

Located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Misaki Fishing Port is a nationally renowned base for deep-sea fishing in Japan. Since the early Showa period, it has been famous for its tuna catch. It takes just over an hour to reach from Tokyo by train.

With the【Have Fun In Tokyo Pass】, you can first take the JR train to Shinagawa Station.

After exiting, head towards the Takanawa Exit (West Exit) to reach the Keikyu Railway Shinagawa Station.

At the ticket gate, you'll see the tourist information center on the right side.

Enter and show the service staff your【Have Fun In Tokyo Pass】electronic ticket QR code at the window to receive three physical tickets.

These tickets include: A. Keikyu Shinagawa-Misakiguchi One-Day Train Pass / B. Tuna Cuisine Meal Voucher / C. Entertainment Facility & Gift Voucher

First, use the A. Keikyu Shinagawa-Misakiguchi One-Day Train Pass to enter the station and take the train to Misakiguchi.

There are many restaurants and entertainment facilities where you can use the B and C vouchers, and the area is quite large.

If you're not sure where to start, you can refer to the recommended itinerary on the official website.

Since it will be close to noon when you arrive, take the bus directly to Misaki Port to find a restaurant where you can use the B voucher.

Simply show the A pass to ride the bus.

【Ki no Dai 紀の代】

Take the bus to "Hinodecho (日ノ出)," and then walk for 1 minute after getting off.

With the B voucher, you can enjoy the Tuna 4-Variety Bowl at Ki no Dai.

This dish allows you to savor four different types of tuna:

Marinated Tuna (まぐろ漬け), Albacore Tuna (びんとろ), Tuna Yukhoe (まぐろユッケ), Negi Toro (ねぎごろ)

After enjoying your meal, take a leisurely stroll along the road by the harbor back to Misaki Port.

Use the C voucher to redeem a ticket for the underwater sightseeing boat.

After the sightseeing boat sets sail, there will be an introduction to the surrounding attractions.

Then, the boat will stop at a specific location, and passengers will be invited to go down to the lower deck to view the fish.

Due to the rain the day before, the seawater is a bit murky, but you can still clearly see the fish.

There are also interactive activities on the boat, such as feeding seagulls and birds.

The staff will demonstrate how to do it first.

There are also small snacks for the birds available for purchase nearby, priced at 100 yen per pack.

Additionally, there is fish feeding (free of charge).

The staff prioritizes letting young children experience it first, followed by adults.

After finishing the sightseeing boat tour, take a stroll to the nearby Hainan Shrine.

On the way, you'll pass by a charming café called Caba Coffee Beans.

Hainan Shrine is dedicated to the God of Food (食の神様).

Every spring, it hosts the Food God Festival (食の神フェスティバル).

Where gratitude is expressed for the service of kitchen knives by placing them at the "Hochozuka" (包丁塚) monument within the shrine grounds.

This pass covers a wide range of areas.
