🦖Fukui Station "Rooftop Plaza"
With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen line, a new attraction has been added to the second floor of JR Fukui Station: the "Rooftop Plaza." The highlight of this plaza is the ability to use AR technology to interact with and take photos with virtual dinosaurs.
Scan the QR code next to the dinosaur, and a virtual dinosaur will appear.
You can resize and position the virtual dinosaur any way you like, making it perfect for taking fun photos with the dinosaur!
🚃JR Fukui Station
As soon as you step out of the station, you'll see dinosaur footprints everywhere, immersing you in the vibrant atmosphere of the Dinosaur Kingdom.
This dinosaur, diligently promoting the local specialty, holds a Fukui Echizen crab in its mouth, showcasing Fukui's famous delicacy.
Outside JR Fukui Station, several realistic dinosaur models are on display. This giant dinosaur, which moves and roars every 30 minutes from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, is built to scale, standing approximately six meters tall. It's a truly impressive sight, allowing visitors to experience the actual size of these magnificent creatures up close.
The exterior walls feature impressive 3D dinosaur murals. Come and get creative by taking photos with these dynamic dinosaur artworks!
In the plaza outside the station, replicas of dinosaur footprints discovered locally are displayed on the ground. You can compare and observe the differences in size and shape between the dinosaur footprints and your own.
