Product Description｜Kansai Area Rail Pass 3 Day Pass
Holders of the Kansai Area Rail Pass can enjoy unlimited rides within the valid area shown on the map. The following trains and services are available for use: Reserved seats on the Kansai-Airport Express “HARUKA” (with a designated seat ticket) JR West conventional lines including Rapid (Shin-Kaisoku), Rapid, and Local trains JR West Buses: Only local route buses within the valid area are included. Highway buses are not covered.

Usage Instructions & Notification
1. Eligibility for Redemption
※ Must hold a passport issued by a government outside of Japan.
※ Must have a status of residence equivalent to “Temporary Visitor” (as defined by Japan’s Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act).
2. Please redeem your e-ticket via Travel Contents APP in advance. (No cancellation after redemption)
3. How to Use: On the day of your visit, please present the confirmation code or QR code you received, along with the passport of the booking holder (non-Japanese nationality), at the designated ticket vending machines at the station (see map below) to exchange for a physical ticket.
The ticket vending machines support five languages: Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean.

※ If the ticket vending machine is out of order or your passport does not have an IC chip, please go to the designated station’s “Green Window” (ticket office) to exchange for a physical ticket.
Once the exchange is successful, you will receive your physical ticket.
4. How to redeem your reserved seat ticket:
Before use, please present your physical ticket at the Green Ticket Office to exchange for a reserved seat ticket.

5. Different rail passes allow you to redeem for a different number of reserved seat tickets. Please refer to the product page for details.
6. Please check the product page for information on which trains accept reserved seat tickets.
7. Reserved seats require a separate exchange or reservation at the Green Ticket Machines or Green Ticket Office.
8. If you have used up all your reserved seat allowances or did not reserve in advance, you can still use your rail pass to ride in unreserved seating.
9. For rail passes that allow unlimited reserved seat bookings, from the 7th reservation onward, you must make the booking at a Green Ticket Office. Reservations cannot be made at machines.
10. Reserved seating (ordinary car reserved seat) requires an additional limited express ticket.
11. Limited express trains other than the Kansai-Airport Express “HARUKA” also require a separate limited express ticket.
12. Shinkansen (bullet trains) are not included and cannot be used.
13. Only one ticket of the same type and period may be exchanged per passport.
14. The rail pass is for personal use only and cannot be transferred.
15. Please carry your passport when using the rail pass. JR staff may ask to verify it.
16. Lost or stolen passes will not be reissued under any circumstances.
17. The usage of the rail pass is subject to the JR-West Transportation Terms and Japanese law.
18. The usage of the exchange tickets is subject to the regulations and terms set by the issuing company.
19. In case of any discrepancies between the Japanese and foreign-language versions of the transportation terms, the Japanese version shall prevail.
20. The Kansai Area Rail Pass allows unlimited rides within the valid area shown on the map:
① Reserved seating on the Kansai-Airport Express “HARUKA” (can be used with a reserved seat ticket)
② JR West conventional lines: Rapid (Shin-Kaisoku), Rapid, and Local trains within the valid area
③ JR West Buses: Only valid for local route buses within the designated area. Highway buses are not included.
