The event lasts approximately 40 minutes and takes place at Yūtoku Inari Shrine in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture, one of Japan’s three major Inari shrines. Last year, over 20,000 visitors and local residents participated, enjoying a night-time scenery completely different from the usual daytime view. The event features lighting across the expansive shrine grounds—including the main gate, precincts, and Japanese garden—and a 3D projection performance inside the main hall. Participants wear fox masks and freely explore the event area as if they were guests at a wedding ceremony. This is a new autumn festival themed around “cutting off bad relationships and welcoming good ones.” Additionally, participants who purchase this plan will receive four limited-edition “cute Yūtoku fox candies” as a special gift.
