Introduction｜Jozankei Onsen

It takes just about an hour by bus from downtown Sapporo to reach this hidden gem, Jozankei.
You can hop on and off freely along the route, whether you want to visit Hoheikyo Onsen or Kogane-yu Onsen!
To get to Jozankei, you can take either the reservation-only Kappa Liner or the regular Jotetsu Bus.
If you choose the Kappa Liner, it’s recommended to ask your hotel front desk to help make the reservation by phone.

Instructions & Notes

1. Tickets must be redeemed at the Sapporo TV Tower Information Center during business hours (9:30 AM – 6:30 PM JST).
2. The bus will depart on time. Please arrive at the station 10 minutes before the departure time.
3. Passengers must plan their itinerary according to the bus schedule and are advised to redeem tickets one day in advance to ensure sufficient time for the trip. No refunds will be given if passengers abandon the tour midway or miss the bus due to personal reasons.
4. The scheduled return time might be delayed due to traffic congestion during holidays or adverse weather. The company is not responsible for any additional costs incurred if passengers need to take a taxi or find accommodation due to unavoidable delays.
5. In cases of force majeure, such as pandemics or natural disasters, which may prevent the tour from proceeding, guests can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
6. The bus ticket allows unlimited rides on Jotetsu Company buses (valid only on the day of use). Rapid 7 buses (buses with white schedules) allow standing passengers. After redeeming tickets, guests need to choose their boarding and alighting locations, travel dates, and times according to the bus schedule. No reservation is required for the bus, please plan your travel time accordingly.
7. For the Kappa bus (buses with green schedules), if there are no reservations and the bus is full, passengers will need to take another bus. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kappa bus may stop operating or reduce the frequency of services. The schedule is for reference only.
※To take the Kappa Liner, a reservation must be made at least one day in advance. No additional fee is required to reserve the Kappa bus. When reserving the Kappa bus, please inform them that you have already purchased the onsen ticket. Reservation phone number: 120-737-109 (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM JST)
