The Sagano Romantic train travels a leisurely, 25minute route from Saga torokko station to Kameoka torokko Station with a total length of 7.3 km, following the scenic beauty of the Hozukyo Ravine on its route in a art deco train with gold and black patterns on the red covering.
Saga torokko station, is adjacent to JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, featuring painstakingly recreated miniature versions of Kyoto’s historical sites and neighborhood scenes.

Instructions & Notes

1. Please make sure to redeem your e-ticket in advance via the Travel Contents App. (Once redeemed, ticket cannot be cancelled.)
2. To board the train, click the mobile voucher URL before the designated boarding time and show the E-ticket screen to the staff member at the station ticket gate.
3. There is no need to exchange it at the ticket office. If no attendant is available, please go directly to your designated seat on the train.
4. There may be holidays, partial suspensions, or special train operations during different seasons. Please refer to the website for specific details.

5. Reservation application deadline: Please complete the payment process at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
6. All Sagano Romantic Trains feature reserved seating and are designated as non-smoking.
7. If you get off the train mid-journey, the remainder of your trip will be unavailable.
8. You can board the train at the intermediate station. Please confirm the number and departure time of the train at the station in advance. If you miss the train, we will not be responsible.
9. The boarding date and departure time cannot be changed once the reservation is confirmed.
10. You can change your seat up to 2 days before boarding. You can change seats up to three times. (Same day and same departure time)
11. You may be moved to a seat further apart or an aisle seat based on availability.

Amanohashidate View Land Miyazu Bay is in the northern part of the Kyoto prefecture. The cause of this special natural landscape is the compression of the earth's crust. The bay is a sandbar topography formed on the sea and was called "Tango Amanohashidate" by Japanese. It is also called the "Three Views of Japan" together with Aki's Miyajima (now called Itsukushima) and Mutsushima. On Wenzhu Mountain, there is an observatory where you can see Amanohashidate, tourists can choose to take a chair lift or a monorail to it. The Amanohashidate seen from the observatory looks like a dragon flying in the sky, so it is also called "Hiryukan". From here, you can see the vibrant scenery of Amanohashidate. Besides, there are Ferris wheel and amusement facilities suitable for all ages. The location of Amanohashidate Sightseeing Boat The location where tourists can take the sightseeing boat to and from the Amanohashidate Wenzhu area(Chionji Temple, Amanohashidate Station) and Ichinomiya area (Motoise Konojinja Shrine, Kasamatsu Park).You can also rent bicycles here. Kasamatsu Park An observatory where you can overlook Amanohashidate.
