Nishijin-ori is a traditional Kyoto craft with a long history. At the Nishijin Textile Center, learn about its history, see artisan demonstrations, and join a quick hand-weaving workshop using a mini loom to create a 20×15 cm table mat. You can keep your finished piece as a special souvenir.

Closed: Every Monday and year-end holidays 12/29~1/3 ※If Monday is a public holiday, it will be closed on Tuesday instead.
The hand weaving experience takes approximately 30 minutes.
