Three buildings in the temple are listed as Important Cultural Property. The largest wooden statue in Japan, the "Thousand Armed Kannon", is placed in the Buddha hall. You can enjoy a view of Wakayama City and even Shikoku from the third-floor observation corridor of the Buddha hall.
