Introduction|Yutoku Inari Shrine
Yūtoku Inari Shrine, along with Fushimi Inari and Kasama Inari, is considered one of the ‘Three Great Inari Shrines’ of Japan. Built into the mountainside, it is famed for its vivid, ornate architecture and colorful lacquered finishes, earning it the nickname ‘The Nikkō of Western Japan.’ Every December, the annual ‘Ohitaki (Fire Ritual)’ draws large crowds of visitors, with flames soaring up to 20 meters high.
