Just a quick reminder: the trains have non-reserved seats, and the trip to Tennoji takes about 50 minutes, though it may take longer during peak hours.

Nankai Electric Railway(Express Rapi:t & Airport Express)

Planning to go to Namba? Nankai Electric Railway is the ideal choice! There are three options from the airport: Express Rapi:t, Airport Express, and the regular train. Since the regular train takes longer, this article will focus only on the first two options.

Express Rapi:t

There are two types of Rapi:t trains: Rapi:t α and Rapi:t β, both with reserved seats. (Rapi:t α does not stop at Kishiwada and Sakai Stations.) Travel time to Namba Station takes only about 34–39 minutes. Please note that in addition to the regular ticket, an Express Pass is required.

Airport Express

Compared to the Express Rapi:t, the Airport Express offers more trains, a cheaper fare, and does not require an Express Pass. Travel time to Namba Station is about 44–47 minutes. Since the seats are non-reserved, you may not get a seat during peak periods.

Limousine Bus

If you’re staying at Hotel New Hankyu Osaka, Sheraton Osaka Hotel, Hotel Nikko Osaka, and others, we highly recommend taking it—it saves time and makes your trip much easier.
