Kishu Lacquerware Traditional Industry Center “Uruwashi-Kan”

“Kishu Lacquerware” is one of Japan’s three major lacquerwares. We introduce the charm and a 600-year history of Kishu Lacquerware here. You can find a variety of lacquerware available for purchase and learn about the manufacturing process inside. Creating your own Maki-e is also an option (reservation required).
