The Tottori Folk Crafts Museum was established to promote the philosophy of “the beauty of folk crafts” advocated by Yanagi Muneyoshi. Serving as a hub for the Tottori folk craft movement, it also guides new creative directions. The museum houses over 5,000 items, including Korean ceramics, traditional folk crafts from Japan, China, and the West, as well as local crafts from the Tottori region and modern folk art created by Yoshida Shōya himself.
