The park celebrated its 25th anniversary with an opening ceremony featuring Woody Woodpecker and Winnie Woodpecker, who made a special appearance in their 25th anniversary costumes. After the ceremony, many people immediately began enjoying a shopping spree, bringing a new vibrancy to the airport.
Located in the departure area, home to many airline gates, the store offers a wide variety of products .To make guest’s time at the airport even more special, we’ve introduced Universal Studios Japan’s first ever vending machine dedicated to merchandise. We’re also offering “NO LIMIT!” entertainment right here at the airport, including a “photo booth” where guests can take pictures with original frames featuring the Park’s characters, an experience available only there. Universal Studios Japan is committed to delivering Super Energy through these exciting, out-of-the-ordinary experiences, even during the limited time before your flight.

Fitting for a gateway to the skies, the store’s spacious interior is filled with merchandise featuring globally beloved characters from the Park, including Mario, the Minions, Sesame Street, and Hello Kitty. New additions include plush toys and plush keychains exclusive to the Kansai International Airport store, which are items which can only be found there. The diverse lineup ranges from souvenirs for yourself to gifts for loved ones and handy travel essentials.

Visitors can browse and select collectible items and make purchases conveniently 24 hours a day. In addition, a new “photo booth” exclusive to Kansai International Airport will be installed. With frames featuring the Park’s popular characters, visitors can capture the excitement of their pre-flight experience as a special memory.
